Preaching began in Barbados for the CBMA in approximately 2000, when it was changed from CBM – UK. There is an annual Easter Bible School each year and several visits from mission workers. Thisisyourbible.com advertising is being done with some incredible results for requests for correspondence courses and visits to the site – over 1000 so far, many of them confirming their own faith. Unfortunately, many in this country are already committed to their church, and there is a church on most street corners.
We continue to be very concerned about the young people, most of whom are lost at this stage. We are trying different programs to help and will continue mostly with sending those to a Young People’s activity when it may benefit. The economy is shrinking some which is increasing the pressure on our brethren.
