The ecclesia in Santa Barbara Costa Rica has been blessed with four baptisms this year. Three were from outside the ecclesial family and one was the son of a brother and sister.

The ecclesia is now at a point where a good number of young people are arriving at an age of decision regarding baptism and we expect to see more in their late teens and early twenties commit themselves to Christ in the next few years. It is for this reason that we would like to encourage the interaction with the group in El Salvador as we mentioned in our report last year. The Santa Barbara ecclesia has now existed for almost 25 years and we are now seeing the fruits of the Sunday School work and efforts with the young people.

We are hoping God willing to increase the number of visits to three a year by Spanish speaking brothers or couples if possible. Preaching work in the ecclesia is done mostly by individuals in the ecclesia working one on one with family members or friends. We hope and pray that the steady growth experienced recently will continue in the coming years.
