Work in Guatemala began in the early 1990’s with the first baptism in 1995. Currently there are 4 brethren in the ecclesia who form a strong nucleus which is actively involved in the organization of weekly memorial services and public lectures.

Due to the size of the ecclesia, several pastoral visits are made each year to encourage the ecclesia. These visits are from both brothers and sisters in North America and local brethren from neighboring El Salvador. Their primary focus is on public proclamation and pastoral care. Recent newspaper advertising has led to a large number of new postal correspondence course students and it is hoped that this will lead further fruit in this large Central American country.
