Newspaper advertising for the Bible course continued to generate new postal students, with about 1,000 active names on the database at year end. The ecclesia carried out regular weekly activities including a Sunday-morning lecture and many private classes with the most promising students. By October there had been 3 baptisms, with the possibility of more before the end of the year. The local brethren continued to develop nicely, so that by year end they were doing most of the exhortations and about half of the twice-weekly Bible-classes.

Continue newspaper advertising, inviting the students to ecclesial activities and working personally with the most promising contacts with the aim of bringing them along to baptism. Continue to work with the Hispanic brethren to prepare them to assume a greater share of the ecclesial responsibilities.
